John has been announced as the 2010 winner of the R.G. Smith Award for Excellence in Naval Aviation Art.The award was given May 13, as one of the special recognitions at the Museums annual symposium, set in the world-class National Naval Aviation Museum located at NAS Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels. The event featured numerous special guests, including Neil Armstrong, Gene Cernan, authors Steven Coonts, Bruce Gamble and others. This is truly a great honor!
